I saw this idea on Heather's blog and I LOVED it so I decided to do a gratitude garland as well. It's been a bit of a rough month (okay, this is how you spell month right? because spell check said it was wrong???) so it's nice to focus on the things we're thankful for, and there are so many. So far we've acknowledged:
family
neighbors
smiles (Urban smiled his first "real" smile)
sleep (such a rare and precious thing lately)
stickers (Addison loves playing with stickers)
the Gospel
puppies
kitties
our home
It will be fun to look back over all of these blessings on Thanksgiving day and remember what exactly it was that particular day that made us especially grateful for these things. Thanks for the great idea!

That is so cute! I LOVE it! And I love that Urban already smiles for his momma! What a good boy!
OH!!! HOW PRECIOUS THAT URBAN SMILED AND HOW HAPPY I FEEL FOR YOU GUYS THAT JUST MELTS THE HEART, YET HOW SAD I HAVEN'T GOT TO SEE THAT YET, IT REALLY MAKES ME WANT TO CRY THAT I MISS OUT ON SO MUCH IN MY GRAND KIDS YOUNG LIFES. ANYWAY, THIS BLOG ISN'T ABOUT ME,(SORRY). I TOO LOVE HEATHER'S THANKFUL GARLAND. I NEVER DID GET TO TALK TO HEATHER ABOUT MY EXTENDED IDEA, I READ ABOUT A FAMILY WHO DID SOMETHING SIMILAR BUT THEY INCLUDED, AUNTS, UNCLES, COUSINS, GRANDPARENTS, ETC... WHO LIVED FAR AWAY, BUT THAT WAY IT STILL FELT LIKE DURING THE HOLIDAY'S THEY WERE ALL STILL TOGETHER. SO I THOUGHT MAYBE WE COULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT TOO?
