We had a couple of sickos around here on New Year's Eve but we still managed to have fun. We started out by munching on plenty of yummy snacks while playing some new games the kids got for Christmas. Candy Land and Connect 4 are our new favorites around here.
Next we went on to the karaoke portion of our evening. Addison got a cute little princess CD player with a microphone for Christmas so we spent the rest of the night making all of the dogs in the neighborhood howl by singing at the top of our lungs to some of our favorite songs.
It is so cute listening to Addison and Urban sing. Addison LOVES to sing, she tells us all the time that she wants to be a singer when she grows up. She has a few favorite pop songs that she actually knows a lot of the words to, it cracks me up. Urban, on the other hand, is a rocker. He doesn't so much sing the words though as much as he hums along to the tune.
Jared & I attempted to teach the kids how to break dance, but seeing as how neither one of us actually know how to do it we weren't too successful. It pretty much just ended up being a somersault fest!
Eventually the kids gave up on the break dancing and just started playing the drums on my tummy. GOOD TIMES!

How fun!!! I love it, what a great way to welcome the New Year. I love to sing, unfortunately I can not carry a tune. I love how much Addison and Urban love to sing, so sweet, it is music to my ears.

Awesome! I wish I could have mustered the energy to do those fun things. Its sounds like a very FUN way to keep things exciting for the New Year! Hope the rest of your year is as much fun as the begining!
