MEMORIES!

I first saw this on my friend Julie's blog and now it seems to be on everybody's. Small blog world huh? Anyway, it's a lot of fun to think back on these great times.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I will assume you're playing the game and I'll come over to your blog and leave one about you.

DAD REMEMBERS
1. ALWYAS TEASING YOU AND TELLING YOU SILLY THINGS THAT YOU WOULD BELIEVE, SOMETIMES YOU WOULD EVEN REPEAT THEM TO SOMEONE, WHO WOULD THEN THINK YOU WERE NUTS. IE - IF YOU FREEZE A FISH ALIVE WHEN YOU THAW IT OUT, IT WILL STILL BE ALIVE!
2. HE ALSO REMEMBERS DRIVING YOUR TRUCK ONCE TO CHECK IT OUT FOR YOU, HE MUST HAVE LEFT A TOOTH PICK IN YOUR TRUCK, AND THE NEXT DAY YOU SAID SOMETHING TO HIM ABOUT HIM LEAVING IT IN YOUR TRUCK, HE THOUGHT IT WAS SO FUNNY THAT YOUR TRUCK WAS ALWAYS SO CLEAN THAT YOU COULD NOTICE, SO FOR ABOUT THE NEXT TWO WEEKS HE WOULD MYSTERIOUSLY LEAVE A OBSCURE TOOTH PICK IN YOUR TRUCK SOME WHERE TO SEE HOW LONG IT TOOK YOU TO DISCOVER IT. IT CRACKED HIM UP HOW QUICKLY YOU WOULD FIND THEM.(SEE YOU WERE A NEAT FREAK ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE JUST LIKE HIM, THAT IS WHY THIS WAS SO FUNNY TO HIM)

I REMEMBER .....
1. HOW BAD YOU WERE WITH DIRECTIONS WHEN YOU WERE FIRST DRIVING, SO WHEN WE MOVED TO VEGAS, WE WERE TERRIFIED THAT WHEN YOU LEFT THE HOUSE WE MAY NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN, WE HADN'T GOTTEN YOU A CELL PHONE YET. SO WE TOLD YOU TO USE THE STRATOSPHERE AS YOUR LAND MARK BECAUSE IT COULD BE SEEN FROM PRETTY MUCH ANY WHERE IN THE VALLEY, IF YOU WERE LOST DRIVE TO IT, CALL US, AND WE WOULD COME GET YOU. (YOU DID FINE, WE NEVER ONCE HAD TO USE THIS SAFETY NET)
2. WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE, FOR SOME REASON WHEN YOU TALKED IT SOUNDED LIKE YOU HAD A REAL THICK JERSEY OR NEW YORK ACCENT, IT WAS SO DARN CUTE.

Oh Goodness...Well you already mentioned quite a doozy on my blog...going on the double date (boy am I glad we didnt go out with those guys again. We had to end up changing the tire because they didn'y know how. I rememer all teh fun we created for ourselves trying to survive the crazies in our singles ward...lucky you escaped... I also remeber eating out and talking about all our "fun" at work...we are going to have to create some new memories here pretty soon!

My dear Hollie...it seems like every memory I have of you is fun. I remember always doing lip sync's with you and Heather and making up plays that we would perform for our family. And when we got older I remember the boys...ah, the boys. We went on a couple of double dates and always seemed to have a good time.

well you already put most of my favorite memories on my list! here are a few more,

when we made up the "heather and hollie show" for Grandma B. we really should have gotten our own Disney show!

when we would play "town" in the backyard, and talked to our "business man" brother!!! hee hee!!

and our most recent adventure, pouring water on our heads to play an AWESOME joke on Jason!!! we rule!!!!

Yes, you two should have had your own Disney show....that too is one of my fondest memories. You two would dress up and sing and dance. You were such the entertainer. What really made me laugh was that you could get Kris to do it...he was so little boy akward! My other favorite memory is the time we were in Las Vegas and you weren't feeling so good. We were walking along the strip and you were getting cold. Kris took off his jacket and gave it to you, what a good "brother/cousin". He has always thought of you more like a sister!

OK, where to begin. I have not known you as long as everyone else and I am pretty sure that some things are better forgotten...but here goes~

~Joe's family never understood why you always were so dressed up. Sorry you had to dress down for us :o)

~yellow and red are perfectly acceptable colors for a wedding, and don't let anyone tell you other wise!

~You always brought flowers to my house when ever you came over for family dinners such as thanksgiving.

~I remember thinking how lucky you were that when you went into labor with your second baby you didn't even know that's what the pains were....oh you have not missed much on the labor side :o)

~Countless days spending hours on the phone comparing stories of life.

~Always having you just a phone call away whenever I needed a friend.

I am sure there are many more that I will think of later, but honestly, I can't think of a better person to have as a sister in law and a wife for Jared....after all he is my favorite :o)

I also remember how grateful I was that you and Jared were always so willing to watch our kids whenever we went on vacation. I hope that I can one day repay you for that. You will NEVER know how much that allowed me to relax and enjoy the time away with Joe.
