Yesterday we took the kids (it's so weird to say kids...plural) to a pumpkin patch so Addison could pick out her pumpkin. I was a little nervous at first to take Urban out to a dirty ole' pumpkin patch since I'm a paranoid mom and he really hasn't been out much yet other than to the doctor's office, but it ended up being a lot of fun. It's a little different the second time around because I can't just lock myself up in my house like I did with Addison since I still have to keep life as normal as possible for her. And what's Halloween without a pumpkin patch? Anyway, I'm so glad we went, it was such a cute little pumpkin farm. Man was it warm though! It's still in the 90's here so we cut the visit a little short as we were all sweating, including poor Urban. I did manage to get some cute pictures though and Addison picked out the perfect pumpkin. I'll post pictures after we carve them. It will probably be tomorrow night for family home evening (I know, I know we're getting a bit of a late start).
Urban slept through the whole ordeal, but I'm sure he still had fun. How could you not enjoy a pumpkin patch right?
Here's Jared with the kiddos. I was bummed because we kept having to take separate pictures but then we met this super nice couple who offered to take a picture of our whole family if we would do the same for them. So here it is below, I finally got my family shot. Not the greatest, but it will do. Addison was DONE with pictures at this point and apparently from the looks of things I forgot how to hold my baby! =) (doesn't he look super uncomfortable?) Don't worry, I'm not this horrible of a mom ALL of the time...I hope.

How fun. How cute!
We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday too!!! We didn't get any family pics though. That is yet ANOTHER reason why I can't wait for you guys to move up here. We can each tag along to family outings so we can have our own private little photographer. Wouldn't that be great for the scrapbooks?!?!
Urban would have been the pumpkin I picked out. How cute is he? VERY!
Yes, I turned into one of those annoying people that answer my own questions.
AWWWW, HOW CUTE, IT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN. IT IS CRAZY HOW HOT IT IS FOR BEING ALMOST NOVEMBER? IT IS WEIRD TO SAY KIDS, ADDISON IS JUST SUCH A LITTLE DOLL, I AGREE WITH HEATHER, THE CUTEST PUMPKIN THERE HAD TO BE URBAN, HE WOULD BE MY PICK TOO. WISH WE WERE THERE SO WE COULD HAVE BEEN THE ONES TAKING PICTURES FOR YOU. HOW COME WE CAN ENLARGE EVERY SINGLE PICTURE EXCEPT THE TWO WITH YOU IN THEM????? HMMM, SUSPICIOUS! AND FINALLY, YES, WHY IS IT THAT URBAN LOOKS A BIT LIKE A RAG DOLL, WHEN YOU'RE HOLDING HIM??? JK. WHEW! NOW I'M OUT OF BREATH, THAT WAS A LOT OF BLABBING. LOOKS LIKE A TON OF FUN, LOVE THOSE FAMILY OUTINGS, REMEMBER OUR HALLOWEEN OUTINGS TO BATES NUT FARM? PROBABLY NOT, FORGOT WHO WE WERE TALKING TOO, AGAIN JK. SO PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T SEND US ANGRY HATE MAIL, WE LOVE OUR HOLLIE MORE THAN ANY ONE, AND SHE KNOWS IT, AND ONE OF THE THINGS WE LOVE MOST ABOUT HER IS HER SENSE OF HUMOR. (YES, THERE IS AN OBVIOUS JOKE WE COULD PUT IN THERE, AND DAD IS DYING TO, BUT WE SHALL REFRAIN. THIS IS SHOWING LOVE, TRUST US. TEASING = LOVE IN OUR FAMILY.
LOVE YA,
MOM & DAD
